年間80本ものgigをこなし”LIVE”という概念の中で、音楽と共にGravityfreeのライブペイントは成長を遂げて来た。音響的なペイントのグルーブ感は、共演したアーティストや多くのオーディエンスの支持を受けて、FUJI ROCKを始めとする日本の野外フェスティバルや音楽イベントでは欠かせない存在となっている。様々なアートワークを手がける傍ら、Bandの様なフットワークで国内外ライブペイントツアーを行っている。
2008年、サンフランシスコのArt show”SIR”でのLive paintingや、ポートランドのSTANDフェスティバルに出演、アーティストホテルとして名高いACE HOTELの一室に壁画を残す。 2009年にはモンタナ州、ミズーラ市のローカルフェスティバルにてパフォーマンスを行い、ローカル各地で行ったShowでも大絶賛の評価を得る。 2010年、サンフランシスコはマーケットストリート沿いに壁画を制作。
カルフォルニア、オレゴンをバイオディーゼルとベジオイルを使って北上するツアー、ELEMENTS TOURに参加、５都市にてLive paintingを披露する。ワークショップやアートを中心としたキャンプイベント”ARThcamp”を静岡県富士宮市にて企画開催。
2011年、テネシー州、アメリカ最大のミュージック&アートフェス”bonnaroo”でLive paintingを披露。Live paint カルチャーと愛を全宇宙へと伝えるべく、Gravityfreeの壮大なペイントの旅は続く。
Gravityfree is painting unit, composed of djow and 8g. “Living Painting is the LIVE, the LIVE, itself is the masterpiece.”, based on the concept, their painting mutate without a break with feeling atmosphere of the place, people and music. Gravityfree’s Live Painting achieve with music in the concept of the “LIVE”, working it 80 times of a year. Their Groove of acoustically painting is almost indispensable in outdoor music festivals and music event commencing with Fuji Rock Festival, drawing much support from artist who co-starred with, and many audience. They embark on Live Painting tour as like band footwork at variety of stages of home and abroad.
2008, they livepainted at Art show “SIR” in San Francisco, appeared on “STAND Festival” in Portland, left behind mural at ACE HOTEL, well-known as Art Hotel. 2009, they were highly-praised local festival of Missoula, Montana, and other local shows in the United States. 2010, they painted mural at Market Street in San Francisco.
They joined ELEMENTS TOUR, moving toward the north from California to Seattle, using bio diesel and vegee oil. They also project and organize “ARTh camp”, is camp event at Asagiri highland, Shizuoka, is anchored by ART and Workshop
2011, they exhibited Live Painting at Music & Art Festival “bonnaroo” in the USA. 2012, they are creating “DEAI” for abandoned house project at Echigo-Tsumari Art Triennale 2012, Japan. Gravityfree’s majestic painting tour will continue to transmit LOVE & Live Painting culture toward the entire universe. |
