Formed in 2008, Bugs of Phonon is one of Taiwan’s premier post-rock bands. They are master storytellers who paint vivid landscapes within the minds of listeners through intricate ensembles that escalate from sweet tranquility to a storm of soaring feedback. Having opened for Japanese icons like toe, Mouse On The Keys, and MONO, the band earned a Best Band nomination at the 2023 Golden Melody Awards. Their latest 2025 album, Long Haul, features Korean singer-songwriter Lang Lee, marking their first-ever track with vocals. With their evolved sound, the band delivers an overwhelming live performance that explores the fragile beauty between despair and love.
