Electro-punk duo Fat Hamster & KANG New deliver explosive live performances through music that fuses heavy basslines, distorted synth sounds, and socially critical lyrics.

The duo have performed at major Korean festivals such as Zandari Festa and the Asian Pop Festival, and in 2025 they released their first full-length album ‘Brains in a Vat’. That same year, they successfully completed a European tour, appearing at major festivals including ‘Colours of Ostrava’ in the Czech Republic, ‘La Mar de Músicas’ in Spain, and ‘Les Escales’ in France.

Their music has also gained attention from major international radio platforms such as KEXP and KXLU. In 2025, their first album ‘Brains in a Vat’ were nominated for Best Asian Creative Artist at Taiwan’s ‘Golden Indie Music Awards’.
