多くのバンドが単一のボーカルやリード楽器を中心に展開する中、RADIOHOPは真にコレクティブなサウンドで他を圧倒。バンドメンバー全員が、一つの有機体として音楽を形作る上で平等な役割を担い、エゴや個々のスポットライトではなく、感情と雰囲気を重視しています。

RADIOHOPの楽曲は、実験、直感的なコラボレーション、そして深い傾聴から生まれる。これは、即興演奏家やビートメーカーとしてのバックグラウンドと、ジャズという彼らのルーツが深く結びついたアプローチ。ライブでもスタジオでも、RADIOHOPは、観客が音に完全に浸れるような音響体験を生み出すことを目指している。

RADIOHOPは、グルーヴ、テクスチャ、そして即興演奏の境界を探求するアムステルダム出身のインストゥルメンタルバンド。メンバーは、ジョシュア・ルッツ、ユアン・ジェンキンス、ジョニー・ビナー、ジョエル・スヴェドベリの4人。ジャズ、ヒップホップ、ソウルがシームレスに織り交ぜられた、魅力的なサウンドスケープを生み出している。

デビューアルバム『All We Do』に続き、バンドは選曲した曲のリミックスEPをリリースしたばかりで、春にはビートに重点を置いた新鮮なアルバムをリリースする予定。また、RADIOHOPの特徴である生のコラボレーティブなエネルギーをさらに深く掘り下げた2枚目のフルアルバムをレコーディングした。

At a time when many bands revolve around a single voice or lead instrument, RADIOHOP distinguishes itself with a truly collective sound. Each band member plays an equal role in shaping the music as a single organism, emphasising feeling and atmosphere rather than ego or individual spotlight.

The compositions arise from experimentation, intuitive collaboration, and deep listening, an approach that has as much to do with their backgrounds as improvisers and beat-makers, as it does with their roots in Jazz. Whether live or in the studio, it's about creating a sonic experience that invites the audience to immerse themselves completely in the sound.

RADIOHOP is an instrumental band from Amsterdam that explores the boundaries between groove, texture, and improvisation. The group consists of Joshua Lutz, Euan Jenkins, Johnny Biner, and Joel Svedberg who create compelling soundscapes that seamlessly interweave jazz, hip-hop, and soul.

Following their debut album ‘All We Do’, the band has just released a Remix EP of select songs, have a freshly curated beat-focused album coming in Spring, and have recorded their second full-length release, an album that delves even deeper into the raw, collaborative energy that characterises RADIOHOP.
